The history of Chicken Sandwich in Peru begins with the famous “Butifarra sandwich” which is actually a ham, mayo, mustard, sarza criolla and lettuce sandwich sold at bullfights, streets and “chinganas”. Over time the sandwich was modified to include different ingredients like Chicken, and that’s how our Chicken Sandwich became popular!
